Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/29/24 Full Review Mike J Sonic I think it's so cool I love it all yt I just got a big boy boy and I Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/22 Full Review Audience Member Very Original and Interesting story. If you're into strange and supernaturally cringeworthy films, this one's for you. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Potential but there’s so many things you could have changed to make this movie a lot better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/09/19 Full Review Audience Member Quite boring and rather bad actors. The wife doesn't even seem that bothered that their son is dead, and the end of the film was so idiotic I couldn't believe it was actually finished. How does this film get more than 80% from audience and critics is a mystery to me. Also what is the blond woman doing so prominently on the film poster, when she's only seen less than a minute during the film. The black woman on the other hand, who's one of the main actresses, is barely credited, wtf. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this movie! I thought it was really suspenseful without relying on jump scares. It's more like a thriller. I thought the modern day take on vampirism was a very cool way to sort of reinvent the vampire genre. was also refreshing to see a horror film that wasnt just sexy teens escaping danger Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Josh Goller Spectrum Culture Wraps itself in the trappings of grief, addiction and trauma, and yet has little interest in honestly exploring these heavy themes. And it's a lousy vampire movie to boot. May 27, 2021 Full Review Robert Martin Starburst Before getting carried away, if it sounds like this is a great film, it's no Near Dark but it's much better than expected. Rated: 7/10 Feb 11, 2019 Full Review Frank Ochieng SF Crowsnest 'Painkillers' certainly does not reinvent the wheel when it comes to the physicality or emotional presence of pain and suffering. [It] definitely works on the nerves and reinforces a certain kind of fixation that is more than imagined or hallucinatory. Rated: 2.5/4 Feb 7, 2019 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Star Adam Huss is better than the script in this incomplete vampires-as-junkies tale. Rated: 2/4 Feb 6, 2019 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Painkillers, which makes a bold effort to take on this large and complex subject, not always getting it right but, overall, acquitting itself pretty well.
