Amy Nicholson New York Times There is a slow-motion shot of a snow leopard, sound-tracked by hair metal. It is delivered without a lick of ironic wit. Rated: D+ Mar 18, 2022 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety Mel Gibson chews the scenery in Mark Neveldine's potboiler, but Yellowstone star Cole Hauser earns his top billing by doing most of the heavy lifting for him. Mar 17, 2022 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue A potentially captivating true-life sociopolitical backdrop is discarded in favor of assembly-line thrills in this throwback action potboiler. Jan 7, 2023 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Nearly shameless in its attempts to re-create the feel of a low-budget 1980s action flick, this un-thrilling movie also forgets to tell a coherent story -- or to make viewers care at all. Rated: 1/5 Mar 19, 2022 Full Review Sean Burns North Shore Movies At least nobody appears to have wasted much money. Mar 19, 2022 Full Review Kevin Carr Fat Guys at the Movies This movie feels like it should have been made when it took place... it feels like it wants to be an 80s thriller, but it's failing miserably. Max V This movie is a big bag of cheese. The only thing that makes it almost worth watching are the beginning and ending where Gibson makes an appearance. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/03/24 Full Review Tammy I find all cole hausers movies are excellent. Panama was great. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Carol M At times hard to follow but kept my interest. Fairly predictable and hated the background nondescript music, but Cole Hauser's acting propped up the movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Thomas V I honestly cannot believe Mel Gibson even did a movie of this low caliber. He must need the money. Either that or he was doing a favor for someone by being in this movie. There is a scene in the end where Mel Gibson denounce his religion. I'm surprised he would be OK with saying that. All around the movie is trash-tear cheesy budget action. Beckker is an oaf and there are gratuitous sex scenes. Skip this stinker of a movie. The plot sucks and there's really not anything to redeem it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Gorphead57 K ❌ spoilers ❌I love these films that have a big star, and only have them in for like a couple scenes but advertise the This movie with them, as like the main character it's so funny I did that this devoid of emotion like he goes up to his girlfriend, or whatever as she got shot, and just hugged her and forgets about it as the stupid ass guitar music starts playing it's really funny rest of this movie it's just really flipping boring For the PG way to say it and it's very anti-climactic. This movie is a movie that exists hahaha also, bro was playing guitar with an AK 47 and somehow it was still shooting if you watch the movie you know what I'm talking about it's so stupid he's not even pulling the trigger brooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo3% 0/10 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/25/23 Full Review J L Panama is a prime example where cinematography can ruin an otherwise okay B movie. The entire time I felt I was watching the movie from a boat trapped in the wake of a lever boat. If it weren't for that distraction I probably would have enjoyed the loose and fun nature of the film. Still worthy of a lazy weekend afternoon if you just want to zone out for 90 minutes. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews
