Knuckle D Nov 7 No one ever mentions it but this film is a retake on an old Mexican horror film from the 60s called 'Panic', starring Mexican film legends Joaquin Cordero and Adriana Welter. I would guess Paul Naschy saw it as a teen and remembered the basic plot, took it and built a stronger backstory around it. The original is very spooky and atmospheric, and his take is well rounded and has a few extra twists to it. But the basic story is the same. See more 07/12/2012 Slow, boring & cheap. See more 03/25/2009 A visually stunning horror piece from director Paul Naschy, this film is certainly challenging although well worth it if you can stick it out. Naschy has always been a rather unique director but this one surpasses even his usual proclivities for surreal filmmaking. Visually comparable to Hammer films, the story takes a backseat to the experience of the film as a whole. Highly recommended for those who enjoy Naschy's work as a director and those who enjoy visual films. See more 03/01/2009 Naschy i flera roller ( som vanligt) lite deckarhistoria, lite zombies, lite gore, lite buske, man kan inte begära så mycket mer. See more Read all reviews
