Owen Gleiberman Variety I’m not sure if what Willis, Travolta, and Dorff do here rises to what you’d call integrity, but all three seem to be enjoying themselves. They slum with style. Nov 12, 2022 Full Review Noel Murray Los Angeles Times This is TV-cop-show-level stuff, shot in some of Hawaii’s least scenic locations. The stars can’t save it. Nov 11, 2022 Full Review Glenn Kenny New York Times [It] sounds like one of those fake movies joked about on “Seinfeld” or “30 Rock.” And yet “Paradise City” is a reality of sorts, albeit an uncomfortable reality. Nov 10, 2022 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat Paradise City is a fun and lightweight tale for an evening of Hulu and chill. Rated: 6.5/10 Feb 5, 2024 Full Review Emiliano Basile EscribiendoCine ... A low-budget action film, difficult to watch in terms of plot, and in the style of a tourist video without heads or tails. Steve D Wasting 2 legends instead of one does not improve your film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/24 Full Review Heyguy M Good plot just didnt have any actors (Only two) really acting and the rest of the cast should find another job! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 11/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful plot. Bad acting! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/24/23 Full Review Rhesa S This is one big SNL sketch. Because they could NEVER be serious with this. The dialogue sounds like direct plot points….. so lazy and cringy. The acting and writing is like a bad 1997 movie. How dare they have bloopers in the end credits…. THE ENTIRE MOVIE FELT LIKE A BLOOPER. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/09/23 Full Review Michel A Poor movie from start to finish. Bad script with so many holes in the plot it makes The Transporter movies look intellectual by comparison. Bad acting by all involved (pretty sure Bruce Willis had his voice dubbed in). Despite lots of bullets flying and liberal doses of explosions the action just doesn't flow well, and even the background music that should be unremarkable makes you notice it as it's Asian (the film should at least try and sound Hawaiian) … It's a sad epitaph to Bruce Willis as it's was probably his last film… Travolta like Willis has had both hits and misses but this is a double miss. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/21/23 Full Review Soviet A It lacked so much, the CGI was terrible, the plot was bland, it's story was a copy paste from every action movie ever which made it so predictable .. the part that got me, when the son it shot in the leg, he uses a belt to stop the bleeding, only the belt is below the bullet hole and it's obvious 🤣🤌 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
