Izzie Goldberg (Ron Moody), a Jewish retiree, lives in a London home for senior citizens, which is run by his daughter, Dee (Rula Lenska). Dee's son, Keith (Leyland O'Brien), who struggles with his half-black, half-Jewish identity, also works at the home, making for an unusual family setting.
