There is unlikely to be anything else on TV this week, or this month, more disturbing than this film. Watching it, you feel like an eyewitness to injustice. Go to Full Review

Not ignoring all the good that the Paradise Lost trilogy did for three specific innocent men who were wrongfully imprisoned for 17 years, Paradise Lost 2 has to be recognized for its harm as well. Go to Full Review

The unanswered questions at the end of "Paradise Lost" were the kind that could inspire not only a need for a follow-up documentary, but indeed an entire political movement. Go to Full Review

While not quite as objective as the first film, Paradise Lost 2 does seem to do a better job of raising awareness of the case. Go to Full Review

Somewhat less successful than the original, not just because it necessarily must lean heavily on clips from the first movie Go to Full Review

Maksim S @MaksimusMovies Nov 28 Paradise Lost 2 continues the saga of the West Memphis Three, offering more footage and context for viewers familiar with the first documentary. It succeeds in expanding the narrative and maintaining the series’ compelling, investigative style. However, where the original Paradise Lost left audiences shocked and craving clarity, the sequel provides few concrete answers. Many lingering questions—about evidence, motives, and the true course of events—remain unresolved, leaving the viewer with more uncertainty than insight. Valuable as a continuation, but frustrating for those seeking resolution, Paradise Lost 2 earns a middling rating: essential for fans, yet unsatisfying for newcomers seeking closure. See more 07/31/2022 The greatest 01 hour: and 40 minutes of real footage!!!!!!!!!!! See more 04/17/2019 This is beyond bullshit. There are so many cracks/chinks in the case against the West Memphis 3 that it would be laughable if the 3 weren't still in jail. The cops refuse to admit their shoddy police work, the worst of which was a coerced confession of a boy with 72 IQ (sound familiar... Brandon Dassey... yes I know this film/case came first). But there's still a ray of light in that the teens are holding up well and making the best of an atrocious situation. And thank god for the support for the West Memphis 3 due to the airing of part 1. See more 05/14/2016 An update of the lives torn apart by the murders of three children in a small town. With a lot refusals for the documentarians to film, the focus gravitates around one of the more vocal parents of the deceased and a group supporting the three convicted as the legal process continues to unravel. See more 04/24/2016 This one gave a little more information than the first, but it included a lot of flashbacks and information from the first one. It did a great job of making me dislike Mark Byers even more. See more 08/16/2015 The struggle for justice continue, providing more and more facts. Though keep banging their head against a judge not willing to risk his career. The Memphis three looking even more innocent, though stepfather Bryce looking like a benzodiazepem wreecking, which he ceartainly was back then. See more Read all reviews
