A New York City resident, filmmaker Nina Davenport is in San Diego on Sept. 11, 2001, and in the wake of the attacks on New York and Washington, she cancels her flight plans and drives home. Davenport films much of her circuitous journey back to the East Coast, stopping to talk to everyday citizens about their lives. Though 9/11 backgrounds each of her conversations, Davenport's interactions with homeowners, tourists, parents and others reveal timeless truths about life in America.

Audience Member i love everything that has a road trip. This is a personal story/ documentary of woman travelling post 9/11 and capturing american people on what they feel about the attacks. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member She sees people from all walks of life but she comes off as being a condescending New Yorker trying to make it home constantly reminding the viewer how "hard" it is to return home since she wasn't anywhere near NY when sept 11 happened...
