bill p You expect a lot of ridiculous behavior in horror but this one goes beyond the norm. See a beautiful girl in kind of a coma? Let's kidnap her! Got a monster killer who can hypnotize just by looking at you? Let's just marginally keep his eyes covered. And those just the big things. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I have a deep admiration for director William Malone. He creates a strong, un-adulterated style for each one of his films. This is true for Parasomnia. Personally, FearDotCom and House on Haunted Hill are both cinematic masterpieces that most audiences have not given a fair chance to. Nonetheless, I was deeply dissapointed by Parasomnia. Whilst it does hold up a relatively strong style - as to be expected with any Malone production. I found that the budgetary constraints weighed down this production heavily. With a higher budget this film could have been a beautiful yet terrifying piece of media. Instead, it feels cheap and like another B Movie, slightly better however. To conclude, I would reccomend watching this film as it is surprisingly surrealistic and this variable does compliment the overall tone and narrative quite well. But if you haven't seen any of William Malones work before, start off with either FearDotCom or House on haunted Hill. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Weird premise and mid budget 90s like special effects but notable for an early Allison Brie supporting scene Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie for when you're in the mood for bad horror.
