Liz L This was so good. The acting by the young Colin Morgan was absolutely stunning. This is relevant and beautifully delivered. Wonderful film Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Audience Member Colin Morgan is brilliant as Cathal. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie made tears come out of my eyes. It mirrored so many of my own life traumas, humiliations, failures and rejections. I felt every piece of it from my own experiences. Life for some people can become a constant stream of humiliations and failures. This film lays it bare without sugar coating what life if like for such people. Such a great film if you want to know what it is like to have life kick you in the guts. Vert well acted. No BS. It is like it would be in that situation. I have seen all of the other critics reviews and I think that these people have never experienced what it is like to live like this. This film perfectly represents it. The critics have all lived a life of luxury by comparison and do not know how well this film portrays life on skid row. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Kannatti katsoa! (y) Naispääosassa muuten suomalainen Milka Alroth. (Suom. Jumissa) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Brilliant yet scary look into drug addiction and life on the street. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this movie It's got sorta of a bittersweet Plot to it, It's a very inspiring movie,The acting is great, and the movie is very realistic! Stephen Holden New York Times "Parked" collapses into sentimentality that not even an actor of Mr. Meaney's dignity and restraint can redeem from mawkishness. Rated: 2/5 Nov 29, 2012 Full Review Ronnie Scheib Variety This engaging character study functions best as a two-hander: The male leads build a wholly believable, offbeat co-dependency, while their interactions with others tend toward the more generic. Nov 28, 2012 Full Review Michelle Orange Village Voice [An] elegant, engaging meditation on displacement and the modern man. Nov 27, 2012 Full Review Daniel Green CineVue What could have been a Shane Meadows-esque, quirky tale of the human spirit and its ability to triumph against adversity ultimately reveals itself to be a flat, by-the-numbers drama. Dec 5, 2018 Full Review Isabel Stevens ViewLondon All of the actors put in perfectly acceptable performances but none can do much about the brittle plot-fodder stereotypes they are forced to work with. Rated: 2/5 Aug 27, 2018 Full Review Prairie Miller Long Island Press Infused with the visceral impact of raw truth connected to the homeless insider point of view looking out at a callous world. But when it comes to the director's outside looking in perspective, there's a second hand sense of little felt or endured. Dec 30, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews
