Audience Member Worth the watch. Seriously. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Troma version is hilarious, true Troma cinema as usual. The original is pretty good as well in my opinion. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh boy, was this movie a chore to watch! Parts of the Family (the UN-tromatized version that I watched, unfortunately) is about a bank robber on the run from the cops who takes a beautiful woman hostage (Cecilia Bergqvist, who lets the titties hang out a good portion of the movie) within a run-down mansion that she takes care of. Little does the bank robber know, the woman is slightly psychotic as she killed the entire family who lived there and is a witch that raises their bodies from the dead (mummy/zombie hybrids) to attack the robber, as well as all of the policemen outside (including hostage negotiator Lloyd Kaufman). Like I said, this movie was tough to watch, though occasionally, the excessive gore and titty shots manage to help move things along. The acting was beyond atrocious (everyone is clearly Belgium, yet they all spoke their lines in English, which added to the hilarity). Silly awful movie. There is, of course, an altered Tromatized version that features the likes of Ron Jeremy, Debbie Rochon, and Tiffany Shepis, which manages to be about half a star better than the original. Watch it with friends and beer to really enjoy it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie got finished by the troma team, before it was it looked like a decent movie that couldnt be finished, and Lloyd Kaufman created scenes to make it funnier. Lotsa gore and un PC content! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member The original version sucks, but the "Tromatized" version makes up for it. Family slaughtering maids, bloody tits, cannibalism, and retarded zombies packed in with Lloyd Kaufman's trademark humor. What else can you ask for? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Awful original, funnier Troma version. But suck, but it's good to see just how Troma fixed it up.
