I am honestly shocked at the semi decent audience rating for this movie. One of the slowest, dumbest, most meaningless pieces of **** I have ever been forced to watch. I can only assume the people that gave it good ratings already went in knowing they weren't watching a movie, but a piece of "performance art". Even at that, I've seen better.

"Paterson" follows the rhythm of life more than a typical film narrative and develops an everyday life made up of small things and stories of ordinary people that only seem uninteresting at first glance. The result is an experience with a strong empathetic and artistic character.
