Six years after he saved the day at his beloved New Jersey shopping mall, security guard Paul Blart (Kevin James) is taking a well-deserved vacation. In recognition for his hard work, he's won an all-expenses-paid trip to a security convention in Las Vegas, and decides to take his teenage daughter, Maya (Raini Rodriguez), with him. True to form, however, Paul just can't relax and take it easy, so when he uncovers a criminal threat to the hotel, he springs into action.

Bathed in flop sweat and bereft of purpose, Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 strings together fat-shaming humor and Segway sight gags with uniformly unfunny results.

Glow U @Criss552 6d Es una pelicula, que pierde el sentido respecto a la 1. ¿de policia de mall, a ir a las vegas? Una trama un poco forzada See more Virgo V @vision Nov 18 Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is a 2015 American action comedy film directed by Andy Fickman and written by Kevin James and Nick Bakay. It was produced by Todd Garner, Kevin James, Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo. It stars Kevin James, Raini Rodriguez, Neal McDonough and Shirley Knight. It was produced by LStar Capital, Happy Madison Productions, Hey Eddie and Broken Road Productions. It was distributed by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Releasing. It is the sequel to 2009’s Paul Blart: Mall Cop. Filming began in April, 2014 at the Wynn Las Vegas casino resort. It was released the following year on April 17th, 2015. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 was the first film shot at the resort. Vision wrote: "the film follows Paul, the mall security guard who is invited to a security officers convention in Las Vegas and must stop a heist. It also follows the ever-expanding list of wretched movie sequels which ultimately flopped the franchise. It is a poor continuation to the story. Shirley Knight as mom went too early and too poorly. Admire the securities trade show in Las Vegas. Brilliant attachment to the story. Admire the piece about the hierarchy of security guards. Again, goofy performances all around by Kevin James. What a funny finish! Two fries for trying!" See more Logan G. @SequelsArentAlwaysBad12 Nov 16 Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is just as stupid as the first, but loses most of the humor that made the first good. See more ollie w Jul 26 Before you watch the sequel, obviously watch the first film, it's better. The film incorporates the same elements as last time but unfortunately doesn't put any spin on them, but instead adds new ones that don't make any sense. Also, the writing for this is a bit complicated. Paul has soo many chances to knock down characters yet keeps it PG with a taser, weird super glue stuff, Segway, or a gun with marbles? The cinematic fighting scenes from the last film has disappeared and so many spins from there aren't seen in this film, and the only action we see is at the end, but fades out into the ending and the moral of the story. Whole of the last film kept the cinema ongoing but this one just felt like this was full of filler scenes and props that could of been swapped out for something more interesting. The quality of the production is great but the writing.. well not so much. See more Richard B Jul 16 It's a good, middle of the road, easy to watch comedy. Anybody leaving a one-star or a five-star review is truly hyperbolic and should never be taken seriously. I guess that's about 95% of the official "top critics" though, huh? See more Jelisije J Jun 3 So over the top and cringy, but somehow this sequel manages to make it across the finish line into a decent film? See more Read all reviews
