DB Woodside
D.B. Woodside was born David Bryan Woodside on July 25, 1969 in Queens, NY. He pursued his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Albany, then went on to earn his master's degree at the Yale School of Drama. Not long after graduation, Woodside landed his first job as a professional actor: the major role of Aaron Mosely in the murder mystery television series "Murder One" (ABC 1995-97). From there, Woodside bounded among minor small screen roles before breaking into movies with the likes of "Romeo Must Die" (2000); soon after, he landed the memorable supporting part of Principal Robin Wood on the popular series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (The WB/UPN 1997-2003), which itself preceded a costarring position as President Wayne Palmer on the hit action thriller "24" (Fox 2001-2010, 2014). The years to follow saw Woodside take roles on series like "Parenthood" (NBC 2010-15), "Single Ladies" (VH1 2011-15), and "Suits" (USA 2011-), as well as in comedy films like "That Awkward Moment" (2014) and "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" (2015) before landing a leading role on the supernatural series "Lucifer" (Fox 2015-), on which he played the role of conflicted angel Amenadiel.
