04/18/2011 A very good Documentary of underrecognized great American and one of the greatest singers of all time. Paul Robeson had an amazing voice with an unbelievable range, dwarfing the orchestra even in his lower register. Paul Robeson also paid a huge personal price for his political radicalism and activism in the civil rights movement during the very oppressive McCarthy era.
