dave s It's impossible to imagine the chain of events that got the great American director Arthur Penn tangled up in this idiotic mess of a movie. Other than ego, it's equally hard to imagine why Penn and Teller, undoubtedly great magicians, thought that their talents would translate to the big screen. Regardless, we're left with the unimaginably bad Penn and Teller Get Killed, a comedy that misses the mark 100% of the time, filled with ‘jokes' that go nowhere and a plot that winds around aimlessly until it arrives at its moronic climax. The acting is brutal. The direction is uninspired. The story is ugly and stupid. The score sounds like it's been lifted from a 70s porn flick. The characters are all, without exception, annoying. There is absolutely nothing positive to say about Penn and Teller Get Killed. Ugh. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is now available through Amazon Prime video. I've followed Penn and Teller's career since the beginning, but this is the first time I've seen this movie. I really enjoyed it if for no other reason than to watch them interact with each other. The bit where they were in the airport was laugh out loud funny. Teller managed to convey strong emotions without saying a word. I didn't like the ending. It lacked the emotional punch I've come to expect from Teller. It was fun seeing them young and handsome again. If you're a fan, you should see it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Bullshit, TOTAL bullshit ! 90% silly talk, waste of time; 10% obvious and cheap, old and smelly tricks. Run the other way ! PK Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member You'll have more fun watching an actual Penn and Teller show. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member A few jokes fall flat but most hit pretty well. If you like Penn and Teller you will probably like this. If you don't it could go either way. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Greatest ending to any movie ever!
