Audience Member Director Richard Benjamin, HBO films, and executive produced by Danny Devito makes a satirical political war drama starring Kelsey Grammar, Viola Davis, Cary Elwes, and Olympia Dukakis General Patridge is brought before the courts to explain his weapons system Flash back earlier $14 billion is invested in the government's transport vehicle , The Bradley Fighter So he hires outsider colonel James Burton to observe the testing Soon though he finds corruption and inefficiency at the Pentagon The higher ups constantly want the most efficient transport vehicle even if it means adding on feature after feature that could compromise itself Nobody shapes nature the way we do, the Pentagon isn't a charity, men should always come first not cash flow This film ends up being too long and is more about the butting heads of two officials wanting their version of a fighter vehicle to be on the battlefield But makes a silly light hearted look into incompetence in the U.S. military ranks when it comes to making efficient weapons Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/01/23 Full Review Steve D Cheap in ever single part of the production. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The Pentagon Wars approaches the topic of government corruption and incompetence in the U.S. military in a silly and humorous fashion, painting a wonderful juxtaposition of making light of a serious matter. Kelsey Grammar is stellar in his portrayal and steals the show from the very beginning. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a good insight into the military industrial complex's incopentency and the 'Designed by committee' stuff which seems to be rampant when developing militarily equipment. I'd recommend watching at least once. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A really great movie with a lot of awesome humor and delivery. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member A little over-the-top at times, though that's the only "comedy" part of this film. An amusing expose' on government waste mentality (sadly it affects the military no less than other areas of the federal government).
