Synopsis
This documentary recounts over 20 years in the lives of a closely knit troop of chimpanzees observed on location in the breathtaking Tanzanian rainforest. Donald Sutherland narrates this real-life primate family saga, which is based on the research of groundbreaking anthropologist Jane Goodall. Aging alpha female Flo proudly cares for her troop. But as Flo grows weak, her charming young daughter Fifi must come into her own to take on the responsibilities her mother can no longer handle.
