The archival footage of concerts and studio sessions assembled by directors Daniel Geller and Dayna Goldfine is a total blast, and this bighearted, culturally rich film entertains from beginning to end. Go to Full Review

Interestingly, as the documentary goes from the parts of Asher’s biography that might be interpreted as luck-driven to the chapters in which his genius is most obvious, it becomes less entertaining, albeit never unentertaining. Go to Full Review

See more Sybil S @RT49976174 13h I was lucky enough to see this fabulous documentary at its first screening in New York, and smiled from the beginning to the end. The filmmaking is terrific, incorporating the personal lives of musicians (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Linda Ronstadt, etc.) and their music. It's one of the few movies I've seen recently that held my interest throughout. I urge everyone to see it. See more Read all reviews
