Audience Member Although I was never a fan of horror movies as I easily become a victim of constant jump scares, I surprisingly enjoyed the way this movie was organized into 5 shorts stories of different terrifying experiences. Although I have to admit at first I was taken aback by its incohesive nature as it shifted from one story to the next, it was only later on did I found out they were separate stories. With that in mind, if I had to pick one of the stories I though was most enjoyable or terrifying it probably had to be the fourth one, that is the one with the haunted cars. From what I heard, it seems like the main character was a car saleswoman who earned her living by selling cars that used to be owned by past victims. Little did she know that they hosted the spirits of those exact former owners, which leads to a really interesting experiences. The intense suspense leading to appearances of various those different spirits was just as terrifyingly pleasant. As we saw from a burning victim to female ghost with her baby bursting out of her stomach, it was frightening that's for sure but I can't help but want to keep watching to find out what is going to happen next. What makes the climax all the more messed up was that, the women who encountered all of those spirits, did so in the process of finding her boy, but unfortunately, we found out that his body was crushed beyond within a car engine, ending this tragic story with the woman wailing in front of her son's body. With this single story alone I could confidently say it is certainly better than majority of American movies I have watched (or forced to), as most of it does not necessary involved extremely disgusting or gore scenes like those of IT or Insidious but has its beauty within the suspension building up to the climax, and always manage to catch its audiences off-guard on their seats with unpredictable jump scares. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The segments are effective in bringing horror, gore and humor but all of it feels disjointed in terms of goodness. Some are better than expected and some are either meh or disappointing. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Gripping, scary, funny so definitely entertaining!
