At the same time, he falls for a pretty social worker named Pamela (Lauren Hutton) and contemplates giving up the priesthood in order to be with her. The bishop (Will Geer) attempts to counsel Lind and reaffirm his faith in the religion. Still, Lind struggles to decide what is the most important devotion in his life.
