Yes, this is what many women go through: self-image problems, dating problems, loneliness, feeling fat and ugly in a world that demands perfection. Jodie is the perfect Everywoman who shows us ourselves. This movie is painful and beautiful and a remarkable experience.

A movie that is true to life. A slice of life that reminds us of how cruel the world is but without using the traditional storyline. I'd put it up there with sideways, and love Liza.

I'm a single, obese, mid-thirties, woman with mental health issues and this movie still managed to make me feel physically ill and cringe almost the whole time... I'm pretty forgiving but this movie was disgusting.
