Audience Member After an opening sequence that suggests we're getting a cheap PotC knockoff that might be enjoyable on its own terms, the film shifts to the present day and we're stuck watching four people who can't act hold endless meandering conversations on a beach in mid-shot. Looks and - especially - sounds like home video, not because of a lack of resources (which I'm entirely willing to forgive in these cases) but because nobody involved understands how to shoot a movie. Gotta give them credit for effort and amazingly enough they bothered to close caption and subtitle this film. Acting is terrible but altogether it is funny. Ghost island is cursed by a demon and ghost pirates that have been abandoned. Anyone who ended up on the cursed island will die and be food for the cannibalistic captain pirate. I like a good "B" movie but, This was worse than a "B" movies could ever be. Its 1685 & they are using the backyard tiki tourchs that we use today, to light the cave. Horrible & Ridiculous acting & costumes, etc. It look like a dumb home made movie that someone edited & added special effects something. And the fake blood they used was very bright red. Fight scenes were like a bunch of young kids play fighting. I rate this movie 1/2 Star or lower. Please Don't Rent This Movie.
