Pierre L 60's were hotter than the 2020's. Now the unuseful scum took the power Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This is just a fun movie to watch. Some cool Figure 8 stock car action and a catchy soundtrack. Sid Haig's character in the film, Hawk Sidney, is a perfect doppelganger for Kramer (Michael Richards) from the Seinfeld series. Haig's facial expressions in the driving scenes are pricelss. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review deke p Cdn't believe this is really a sport, seems so dangerous, but it was and still is. Lookitup. Lots SoCal scenes and references, especially racetracks. ELLEN BURSTYN HOT! & so was BEVERLY WASHBURN (google her! Old Yeller, etc!) the Floozy JOLENE, bublegum chewing, googly eyed cute. SID HAIG was Iconic as the wierd iconic insane race car driver, i swear I've seen that face in lots of cartoon drawings. And RICHARD DAVALOS was great as the star, perfect KOOKIE BURNS type with 1050s hair. BRIAN DONLEVY's last film. Saw it on THE MOVIE CHANNEL 2.2021. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member oh boy another stockcar racing feature like say 'days of thunder' and original 'fast & furious" Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A carploitation winner from Jack Hil! Brian Donlevy & Sid Haig drag the crazy 8 in a mayhem of speed & crushing metal. Isn't that why people watch auto racing anyways? For the crashes? Well w/ this insane style there is high octane impact galore. Hill gets the most out of the sport that it's a trill ride & w/ the combination of a great powerhouse cast (especially Haig that I always love) & a smoking soundtrax he may have created another cult movie in his catalogue that I've discovered. He damn well may be the king of the drive in feature. A little melodramatic in the end as he tries to drive tragedy home but it didn't leave that bad of a taste in my mouth. Even though you're a winner you can be a loser too Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good 60s drama. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
