Synopsis
Living in 1980s Cuba, Concha (Daisy Granados) is a woman with an extremely superstitious belief system. Set in her ways, the middle-aged Concha has no intention of letting scientific explanations replace her old and decidedly unscientific views of the world -- so when her daughter-in-law, Clarita (Thais Valdes), challenges her adherence to the superstitions, Concha views it as an attack. Now, Clarita is squarely in the woman's crosshairs as Concha slowly loses her sanity.
