What to Know

Critics Consensus

Far-fetched, frantically overstuffed, and unfunny, Plastic seems to use its title as a goal as much as a description.

The title says it all in this cheap, laborious junior heist thriller from British B-movie journeyman Julian Gilbey. Go to Full Review

As mindless entertainment goes, it's a pretty watchable time-passer. Go to Full Review

A frothy little heist movie from Britain that starts off with great promise, only to devolve midway into an empty derivative shell of a film. Go to Full Review

The core foursome are also grossly underwritten and any injection of energy isn't sustained for long enough to raise the pulse. Go to Full Review

Plastic isn't an instant classic mainly because of its visual style, sometimes more in touch with an electronic music video than a film. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

07/15/2019 Poor script , gawd awful acting! Who pays to have this dross made? The characters un-lovable, the plot so predictable it hurts. You almost want to watch to see when the next cliched moment will be thrown-up on the screen. Trust me there are far better ways to spend 101 mins of your life. Watching paint dry anyone? See more 02/11/2019 Is a mediocre movie, fulfills its function to entertain, but it is not memorable. The characters are stereotyped, one does not get to feel empathy for them and it does not matter how lucky they are. The plot about a very elaborate and difficult robbery where many things can go wrong, is something that has been seen in many movies. See more 09/09/2016 Unexpectedly good. Found it by chance on Netflix. Based on a true story which makes it all the better. See more 05/26/2016 Should have been called Wooden.
