Story/Screenplay: (3/5) Mixed feelings about this one. On the whole, its parallel plot lines are interesting, but they're not enough to outweigh the goofy parts of this story. Duration/Tempo: (3.5/5) At 1 hour and 44 minutes, it's an average length movie that felt shorter. Cast & Crew: (3/5) Bernie Mac was fun to watch as the strip club manager with gambling debts. There are some other great actors in this film, but most are used in small or cameo roles and did not greatly improve the quality of this film. Summary: (3/5) The film didn't feel long, but the story and cast were just OK. Overall, a borderline thumbs down.

This is what I thought "Hustlers" was going to be like. There is enough drama and cat fights all featuring scantily-clad women to overlook some of the more camp elements of this film - like the kung-fu tracking of punches and a myriad of ill-timed jokes , but the cast really seemed to enjoy filming this and that translates to the audience very well with this picture. Plus the soundtrack makes me wish the 90's could stay on loop , forget 2020.
