Thrill-seeking criminals perform a series of daredevil stunts to steal money and gems, only to give it away to the poor and less fortunate. Training for a job with the FBI, young recruit Johnny Utah suspects that only extreme athletes could pull off these heists. Utilizing his own special skills, Utah infiltrates the gang of thieves after befriending their charismatic leader, Bodhi. I feel like people are not giving this movie a little credit. (Don't get me wrong this movie is atrocious), but the whole overarching plot is an interesting one. the stunt scenes were really well made although extremely unrealistic. The worst part about this movie was everything else: the acting, color grading was horrendous, some scenes felt extremely long and unnecessary, numerous plot holes, etc. Overall this movie is very bad, but it is still enjoyable as a stunt show.

"Point Break," the 2015 remake of the classic film, is an example of a movie that simply didn’t need a new version, and it clearly demonstrates why. It raises the question of whether remakes are necessary, or if there's a way to innovate and breathe new life into older franchises without starting from scratch, especially in the age of social media. Sadly, this film missed the mark. The action sequences fell flat, the plot diverged in unappealing ways from the original, and the performances lacked the energy needed to support a successful remake. In the end, the film felt disjointed and failed to capture the essence of its predecessor. Instead of invoking nostalgia, it came across as a forced attempt to recapture the magic of the original, with little regard for what made it special. I cannot recommend it at all.
