Trafalgar L Good movie, but mediocre English dub. Feels a bit expedited and the translations and localizations are somewhat clumsy. The villains were a bit too childish and the story overall wasn't overly engaging. I found it uninteresting at moments to watch even while in background. And even reading the plot synopsis didn't engage me. Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Right up there with 'Jirachi' and 'Lucario' Plus this is some of the finest animation I've seen in a while Ash and the gang this time stumble upon the rare Manaphy that leads to the ancient Temple of the Sea They also face off against the Phantom Pirate who wants the crown that holds ultimate power May actually gets much of the focus here befriending the lovable Manaphy even if it means they have to part ways soon If the climax of the film doesn't get you excited then the rest of the film is a cute, brilliantly-drawn adventure Yes Team Rocket is there too but that's not the whole focus Jackie, the Pokemon Ranger even does his part at making sure Manaphy fulfills its destiny Really good and not total garbage Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Decided to rewatch this movie one night as a I remembered it being one of my favourite pokemon movies, this is a fun and quite heartwarming story with some great character development and in my opinion one of the best in the series.
