05/10/2021 thoroughly convinced i've wasted every waking moment of my life See more 06/11/2014 From director Adam Wingard, who has since become famous for his contributions to the V/H/S anthology films, Pop Skull is an interesting blend of horror, psychological thriller, and arthouse cinema that just never quite coalesces into something profound. It feels like one of the Slaughterd Vomit Dolls films with less gore and nastiness and more pretentiousness. Fascinating to watch at first, the film quickly becomes a tedious film from a director with great aspirations who hasn't quite harnessed them properly yet. See more 10/25/2013 Like watching an hour and a half of Adam Wingard's Vines. A fun ride. See more 10/11/2012 Works well enough as an art film, but as a horror film there's little more than slight doses of disturbing imagery. Otherwise, its an emo kid's wet dream. See more 05/18/2012 So far, the best looking, directed, acted and scored ultra low budget movie ($3,000) I've ever seen. See more 09/28/2011 Considering it's not even shoestring ($3000) budget, It's a terrific horror art film. See more Read all reviews
