Audience Member thoroughly convinced i've wasted every waking moment of my life Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member From director Adam Wingard, who has since become famous for his contributions to the V/H/S anthology films, Pop Skull is an interesting blend of horror, psychological thriller, and arthouse cinema that just never quite coalesces into something profound. It feels like one of the Slaughterd Vomit Dolls films with less gore and nastiness and more pretentiousness. Fascinating to watch at first, the film quickly becomes a tedious film from a director with great aspirations who hasn't quite harnessed them properly yet. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Like watching an hour and a half of Adam Wingard's Vines. A fun ride. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Works well enough as an art film, but as a horror film there's little more than slight doses of disturbing imagery. Otherwise, its an emo kid's wet dream. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member So far, the best looking, directed, acted and scored ultra low budget movie ($3,000) I've ever seen. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Considering it's not even shoestring ($3000) budget, It's a terrific horror art film.
