If you've seen Secretary, you'll appreciate this French film about a man who (partially out of love and partially out of sportsmanship), pushes a clumsy young woman to become the fastest typist in the world, with all mental anguish it comes with, and a taste of a jetset lifestyle, It's a bit long though...

Light-hearted and with a much more French view of relationships than US or British rivals, but rather ends up overdoing its degree of jeopardy, making the happy resolution ever more implausible and out of character the longer the clock ticks down.

Guy hires girl for her talent in typing and then goes all out in helping and funding her to win the competition. Suddenly he's focusing more on her than on his job? Unrealistic storyline. Couldn't bring myself to finish watching this.
