Paul Mount Starburst Despite its faults and its wilful sense of vagueness, Portal is to be commended for at least trying to be a little more cerebral than many of its genre bedfellows and it occasionally delivers some richly-imaginative and startling imagery. Been there, done that - but send the t-shirt. Brianna G Nothing happens for the first 45 minutes...then all the "paranormal" stuff is painfully underwhelming and cheezy. Save yourself an hour and 10 minutes of your time and don't bother watching this pathetic attempt at a movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/22/24 Full Review Molly C Typical paranormal hunters meets real haunted house. Not a bad movie but not exceptionally good at anything either. A few logic holes but nothing that can't be overlooked. On a positive note, it has Heather Langenkamp (for those Nightmare on Elm Street fans). Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/04/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a serviceable little horror flick. Released quietly last year I was initially intrigued by the trailer, the casting of Heather Lagenkamp(Nightmare on elm st.) and childhood crush Ryan Merriman (Ring 2). The movie centers around a group of paranormal investigators trying to do legit shows but on the verge of cancellation they finally discover something real and begin to regret it. The movie doesn't bring anything new to the table but it's marginally entertaining. Sadly the films best performance comes from Lagenkamp who only shows up 15 mins before the ending and still packs one hell of a scream. As for the rest of the cast they're okay. A little more imagination and development would have benefitted this but it's still not a bad way to pass the time. 3/5 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Ghost hunters looking for ghosts find a demon instead. Parts of this movie were funny, but not THAT funny. Some Haunted house movie fans might like this. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw this on amazon, solid light hearted horror. Just wished it was longer. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member So fun!! Great acting, fun to see Heather onscreen again!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
