02/27/2011 script: chakradhar is a overenthusiastic actor. he likes to perform solid roles in the movie. a time comes when , two army officers come and narrate the character of a person jay simha and finishes it off. chakradhar gets involved in it , and utters the dialogs of jay simha. he likes the story of army officers and continues with it. but the real twist comes when , jaysimha is not a character , but a real person in coma at himachal pradesh. chakradhar has been called to , h.p for a small purpose. will he take up the job and finish the goons who deceived jay simha >? is the story!! execution: in an army story as the main base , the movie requires lot of inspirational and motivating scenes. but here we do not find any sort of motivating scenes , when scenes get serious comedy comes in between and disturbs the momentum. first half is ok. second half is good and it is the saving factor for the movie. direction: dasari narayan rao has directed the movie over excitedly. no character in the movie , are seen in a controlled state of emotions. everyone are shouting and especially , it seemed as if watching a scream movie. screenplay: movies of 2010-11 are rich in screenplay and camera. but here the movie looked outdated and the scenes are not catchy that can be remembered. one of the worst screenplay ever seen in telugu movies. casting: balakrishna is the sole performer of the movie. heroines are there for glamour and songs. villain lacks the punch. rest all are unfit and especially the head of major jaysimha is a mismatch. no army person is vigorous and blame is for the director. music+background score: another drawback in the movie is music. 2 songs are good. rest all are very poor. thalli kadupulo is the main important track of the movie. the visuals of the song is not that captivating. nice patriotic song by manisharma. background score is dumb and profounded. a copy of all movies including pokiri , sainikudu , english movies. looks like mani has not been paid much. cinematography: in songs , visuals are taken good. in the backdrop of himalayas , the scenes are taken perfectly. the local beauty of himalayas is picturised well and can be a trend setter in the movie. camera angling is too much used. how fast the camera moves in the action scenes are really predictable and when hero jumps , it seemed as if he is hanging from a thread. slow movement of camera will cause this trouble. simply rotating camera for dialogs when hero utters is simply waste. editing: another major fault is the editing. songs are not perfectly placed except thalli kadupulo. comedy comes whenever a serious scene ends and this tests the patience of the audience. overall a dragged movie with bad editing. cgi/production value: the cgi effects are outdated and seemed unrealistic. the budget of the movie is ok and will suffer a lot due to bad treatment. entertainment value: few scenes are catchy to smile and rest of the movie is full of seriousness. so no chance for entertainment here. final analysis: a nice story. badly executed. poorly edited. irritating direction. outdated visual effects and screenplay. only saving grace is balakrishna. nothing really note worthing in the movie , except few dialogs and a song. rating: 2.25/5 comment: movie suffers.
