The documentary Predators can be commended for taking a critical look at questionable tactics used in filming sex predator arrests, but the movie's investigations are flawed. The film's tone is a little too sympathetic to the suspects caught in the act.

Osit and de Rond ultimately spell out what’s pretty apparent to anyone who’s watched an episode: “understanding isn’t a goal of the show.” The instant gratification of watching these guys get humiliated, then taken down by the cops, is why we watched.

This movie was garbage. The long pauses and awkward shots didn’t help. This movie tried to be thought provoking by asking “what about the predators?” Came off really bad. It’s a perspective the majority of people honestly could care less about. they ended it by interviewing chris Hansen and how he felt ruining all these predators lives. His answers were honest and kind of made the director look like a fool. If you’re a predator, you’ll love this film.
