Anil Sinanan Time Out Salman Khan may be a huge star, but this outdated comedy doesn't make the best of his abilities. Rated: 2/5 Oct 23, 2017 Full Review Namrata Joshi The Hindu It's Salman, effortlessly charming, who saves the day and holds you to the seat. Nov 20, 2015 Full Review Mike McCahill Guardian If the plot's familiar, no imagination or expense has been spared in mapping the kingdom it winds through. Rated: 4/5 Nov 16, 2015 Full Review Pradeep Menon Firstpost Needless to say, PRDP’s transparent understanding of the way gender works in society left me feeling like a proud beta, bhai and future pati. Oct 25, 2023 Full Review Rahul Desai CatchNews Khan's career in the last decade has been an open-for-all, giant cleansing ritual. His formula of infusing philanthropy into performance arts has become insufferable to sit through. Rated: 1.5/5 Feb 7, 2019 Full Review Rachit Gupta Filmfare Despite its flaws, PRDP manages to entertain you. It's long yes, and most of its story is almost too sentimental. But then it works. Audience Member Let's make this absolutely clear. I hate Sooraj Barjatya. He's the reason why family gatherings look so campy. And just when we were relieved we shall never have to see his atrocious movies again, he struck back with this. THIS! And no, he didn't even maintain that level. He stooped it even lower. Everything about this movie is bad. Just straight up bad. Salman Khan looks ugly, the dialogues are atrocious, the story is poor, the acting is terrible, the music brings tears to my eyes (because I can't stand the torture), the visuals are unoriginal. I have no idea how on earth does this movie have a higher budget than Baahubali. And of course there are the fillers. Because it's a Sooraj Barjatya movie. How can we not have Salman Khan playing football with all the guests who are divided in the teams of men and women? And there's literally a song in which Salman Khan is singing whether he should take spinach for the princess or carrots. I literally rolled my eyes when that song played. The only good thing about this movie is Neil Nitin Mukesh. And you know how bad your film has to be when he's the best thing about it. If this film wasn't free on Hotstar I'd have never watched it. After Bajrangi Bhaijaan this was a huge letdown. I'd say skip it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Vipin K Sanjay leela bhansali should make notes from this film for making big budget movies. This is an absolute masterpiece. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/05/19 Full Review Audience Member its disgusting plz don't watch Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member If only i could give a negative score Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Maybe more like a 2.75/5 because it got a little slow just before the conclusion. Other than that, it was exactly the movie I expected it to be and a little more. I liked it, but I think it was one of those I had to be in the right mood to like it kinds of movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This 2 hour 40 minute extravaganza certainly won't convert any non-Bollywood fans. But if you are into silliness, hamming, implausible plot twists, spectacularly lavish sets and bombastic song & dance numbers, you'll enjoy this return to the old-school Bollywood formula. Contemporary India rarely had such a vintage look. Salman Khan (in a dual role), Sonam Kapoor and Anupam Kher give standout performances. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
