After an extremist militant group threatens their lives, a young couple (Ryan Phillippe and Mena Suvari) is forced to flee their Christian missionary post in the Kalahari Desert. After being granted passage aboard a rickety plane, piloted by a corrupt smuggler (Emile Hirsch), their escape to safety is nearly in reach. But when their aircraft loses power and crash lands, they discover a bigger threat awaits them as they find themselves stranded in the middle of an animal preserve populated by man-eaters -- lions, leopards, and hyenas. Injured, frightened, and being tracked by the extremists, this ragtag group of passengers must fight for survival from both man and beast where only the strong will survive.

The best thing about this low-budget B thriller is its beautiful African nature footage, which seems to have come from a stock footage library. The human part of the story goes quickly and permanently off the rails.

One of the worst movies I've ever seen. A 5 yr old could have written a better plot. 😂 At a bare minimum at least have the Lions in the same " Scene" as the humans.

One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life. All of the animals were stock footage and stock videos, and some were artificial intelligence made. The plot had no real story through it, and it was almost not believable. What’s the point of making such a movie when you know, it’s just to fill up space and to provide content to your users who are going to hate it.

This film was a let down and I’m surprised it has such a high score. Even for a low budget film, there was so much wasted potential. 3 well known talented actors, a compelling survival scenario and epic setting, but the writing, directing, and editing really missed the mark. I would agree with many of the other reviews noting character development, action sequences, dialogue and effects as all lacking.
