Martin Tsai Los Angeles Times The film feels like scenes from different screenplays cobbled together without the rough edges polished off. Apr 30, 2015 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X It also helps that the film has a sturdy leading man in Hal Ozsan, who is capable of the personality swings that the script demands. Rated: B- Dec 19, 2018 Full Review Brent Simon Paste Magazine A neo-Hitchcockian turducken of slapdash, would-be intrigue, Private Number is the sort of film that would rather accept all manner of ridicule rather than be accused of being boring. ashley h Private Number is a disappointing film. It is about a series of cryptic phone messages and visions haunt a writer while he struggles to finish a novel. Judd Nelson and Tom Sizemore give terrible performances. The script is badly written. LazRael Lison did a horrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The two leads are quite good, and the film starts out with some intrigue. Unfortunately, things go downhill after a while. The plot is thin enough that it can't maintain any momentum, and the suprise you can see coming a mile away. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Another laughable "scary" movie with atrocious acting, even worse storyline and more of a desire to see the main characters go down in flames than escape the clutches of some prank caller. Rwther disappointing Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The "Remember Me" phone calls were kinda creepy, but not a whole lot else was. It was an okay "scary" movie, but very lazily wrapped up at the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent if a little over-the-top performances in a movie that itself is way too over-the-top for its own good. It would be a better movie if it could figure out exactly what kind of movie it is. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member painful to watch. a mix of bad acting and a failed attempt of a thriller.
