The film is nearly two hours long and passes in what feels like 45 seconds. It is wildly entertaining and blaringly ridiculous, and I want to watch it every night for a week. Go to Full Review

From the very beginning, Promare becomes a festival of shapes and movements... without ever losing the coherence or the pulse of its story. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

The strongest theme 'Promare' explores is the discrimination of an entire group of people by the government-an extremely timely, familiar, and relevant story, especially for viewers who live in the States and are aware of the current political climate Go to Full Review

Jess P 12/02/2024 One of the best movies I’ve ever seen. Stunning visuals, bold characters, just amazing See more 12/16/2019 Absolutely incredible. Everything I could have wanted from Studio Trigger. Bangin' soundtrack, breathtaking color palette, and non-stop action. Promare is completely over the top in the best way. The plot has a nice balance between serious moments and humor, and it's fully self-aware of all of the common tropes it makes use of. It's really just a whole lot of ridiculous fun. If you're a fan of Gurren Lagann, you'll definitely be into this. See more Frank 10/31/2019 Promare was pretty dope. The animation is stunning, the music is great, the story has some great themes, and the two lead characters are awesome. See more Hana 10/25/2019 the story could've been more fleshed out but the animation is absolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack is incredible so who cares! See more kwesi C 10/18/2019 It was everything it could be See more Daniel M 10/16/2019 Amazing animation, music and voice acting! Add a little of studio trigger's nonsense storyline and you have yourself a beautiful movie! See more Read all reviews
