Synopsis
Jirair (Manuel) is a brash young Armenian, vigorous and full of life. When he falls in love with the beautiful Anahid, a poor housekeeper, the two hit it off quickly. Anahid becomes pregnant, however, and Jirair must find a way to support them. Moving to America with his uncle, Jirair finds it difficult to stay in touch with his wife. When a wealthy man hopes to marry Anahid, she hesitates because she still holds out hope for a reunion with Jirair, despite her family's preference for the suitor.
