Synopsis
Filmmaker Anat Zuria provides a candid view into the 2,000-year-old traditional Jewish practice of the family purification bath, or mikveh, which follows seven days after the completion of a woman's menstruation. Long considered to be an off-limits topic, Zuria and several of her friends break from the mold to share their experiences growing up as females under the rigid religious laws of Orthodox Judaism, and how it has affected them to this day.
