Margaret C No one asked for this Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/16/23 Full Review christopher c. m It's strange that the creature actually fits the description in the song exactly. But an evil real-estate guy wants to steal his grandpa's building to build condos. Why condos? It was the 80s, it was always condos. I was excited to see this but I was so disappointed by how by the numbers this is. Not fun by the numbers tired and annoying by the numbers. No wonder everyone things the alien was a guy in a suit because it was quite obvious that it was a guy in a suit. So much nothing happens in the movie and for the record the Purple "People" Eater never eats anyone, not even villains. It's just too predictable in a bad way, it's not funny and it's just too boring. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Lame, cheap and unfunny. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I both loved and hated this movie. On one hand, we have a great message for both kids and adults to get involved with their families and communities to make a difference in each others lives for the good of all, and to have fun in life. But on the other hand, this was completely corny and cheesy, and the purple monster was stupid and annoying. I'd recommend having your kids watch it, but it'll be hard to watch it with them.
