Audience Member Average flick about money, power and greed. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member it was an okay movie Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I guess knowing the writer (original idea) and getting my name in the credits is something. But the movie and it's idea, priceless. Nice to see Paul Reiser in a different light ! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member One of those money and power are evil if you don't know what to do with them. Only instead of wall street this movie uses the more mordern dot com internet world as the setting. John Light is John Elias a buisiness student with a breakthrough idea but no money. Jeffery Donovan (now on the excellent new TV series "Burn Notice") is a classmate who can make the connactions needed to get John's idea off the ground. Basically once the business starts John's life begins a downward spiral. The whole corporations are bad theme is tired and the lead isn't really likable from the start. It is funny to see Hal Holbrook, who's almost 80 years old, randomly punch a guy out. Good cast, bad film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Insight in the American business world. An average good movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Granted, it's basically "Rock Star: Silicon valley", but with a less hamhanded denouement than the Judas Priest allegory. Excellent cast top to bottom. Jeffrey Donovan is a great "Svengali", Archie Kao ("CSI") and Shaun Majumder are engaging as the protagonist's brain trust buddies, and it was nice to see Mia Farrow in a decent vehicle again. It's a shameless morality play, but a heartfelt one. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
