John Light
John Light was widely known for his acting on the big screen. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax" (CBS, 1998-99). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Cold Lazarus" (1996-97), "The Unknown Soldier" (PBS, 1998-99) and "Cider With Rosie" (PBS, 1998-99). He also worked in film during these years, including roles in the comedy "My Man Godfrey" (1936) with William Powell. His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Mary, Mother of Jesus" (NBC, 1999-2000). He also appeared in the TV special "Aristocrats" (PBS, 1999-2000). Following that project, he acted on the silver screen, including roles in "Purpose" (2002) and the Jason Scott Lee adaptation sequel "Dracula II: Ascension" (2003). Light also appeared in "The Prophecy: Uprising" (2005), the dramatic comedy "Heights" (2005) with Elizabeth Banks and the crime flick "Scoop" (2006) with Scarlett Johansson. He also appeared in the Glenn Close dramatic adaptation "Albert Nobbs" (2011). Light most recently acted on "Atlantis" (BBC, 2013-15). Light was married to Neve Campbell.
