Audience Member Lazy flash animation, boring narrative, and uninteresting songs, this adult animation feels more like a TV special or an episode than a feature-length film. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Simpsons producer Mike Reiss's feature length tale of Queer Duck and his friends Openly Gator, Oscar Wildcat and Bi-polar Bear. A gag reel of a film that will have you chuckling a plenty. Not all the jokes hit home and sometimes the silliness is just a bit too silly. Still the laughter out stripped the head shaking and the Family Guy-esque sight jokes are gold. Packet of Quentin Crisps anyone? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This works far better as a short than as a feature-length film. The animation is a little sloppy, although that's probably a reflection of its origin as a web cartoon. After a while the humour may be get somewhat cliche and one-dimensional, but it's full of catty one-liners. Amazingly, the cast members include Mark Hamill, Billy West (whose golden chords have given life to many animations like Futurama) and David Duchovny in a cameo role. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member this film version of the classic QTV cartoon sends up spoof and zany satire on todays gay culture. a must see for fans of gay cinema and controversial animated shows Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I think I would have enjoyed it more if I'd have been on magic mushrooms. Although gotta love a movie that starts with a character called Genital Warthog & has Queer Duck being turned gay again by a touch of Barbra Streisand's nose. It was OK, but could have been so much better. They should have got KY Jellyfish from the shorts involved! Paul Schrodt Slant Magazine Reiss takes advantage of the contemporary rift between '70s-born freewheeling gay lifestyle and modern gay domesticity. Rated: 3/4 Jul 16, 2006 Full Review Ronnie Scheib Variety A 72-minute non-stop gagfest. Jun 22, 2006 Full Review James Sanford Kalamazoo Gazette Some of the songs manage to be both coarse and catchy... others are less inspired. The jokes have about the same hit-to-miss ratio, with dozens of groan-worthy moments mixed in among some smart satire. Rated: 2.5/4 May 18, 2007 Full Review David Cornelius eFilmCritic.com As a satire, it flops miserably, and as loose comedy, it flops even more. Rated: 1/5 Jul 14, 2006 Full Review Read all reviews
