Phil Walsh Geek Vibes Nation we can admire the simplicity of the story and the warm sense of nostalgia it brings. Further, its purpose as a cozy little scary movie serves as an excellent door opener to future horror fans, and that is something worth celebrating. Rated: 6.5/10 Oct 19, 2025 Full Review Shawn Van Horn Collider Pumpkinhead doesn't always work, but it makes a valiant attempt to lightly scare its younger audience, and it isn't afraid to go for a shocking finale where not everything is wrapped up tight with a perfect happy ending. Rated: 6/10 Oct 17, 2025 Full Review Joe Lipsett Bloody Disgusting A solid gateway film for pre-teens. For those who love The Haunted Hour and Goosebumps, this is perfect seasonal fare Rated: 3/5 Oct 17, 2025 Full Review Karina Adelgaard Heaven of Horror R.L. STINE'S PUMPKINHEAD is a new Tubi horror movie made for a younger audience. It could be a solid choice for Halloween for the entire family. However, this also means any hardcore horror fan shouldn't expect anything too wild or intense. Rated: 3/5 Oct 17, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Andy C Wtf was that ending? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/21/25 Full Review Richard Y Certainly not a 'children's' film but a teenager's. Apart from the really dumb and stupid kid 'Sam', it's an entertaining fare. The surpise twist of an ending would certainly disappoint a lot of viewers when Sam is forgotten by his mother and brother whom he risked his own life to save. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/25 Full Review rgb B It's good enough for an R.L.Stine based movie. I wish the more recent Goosebumps TV series would return. I liked the first season with Justin Long, especially. But Pumpkinhead is worth watching for any Goosebumps fan. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/18/25 Full Review YAZZYG T Hits all the good beats in nostalgic campy kids thrillers. Instant Halloween Classic for the young end of the YA crowd, and the nostalgic boomers - We need more content like this. Solid actors who sell it and we're buying in for a well crafted ride in a charming wrapper of fun/creepy delivered by Director Jem Garrard - she shines here - The PRACTICAL EFFECTS are awesome glue in this vibe, and without divulging any spoilers, especially some great moments delivered by FINN (Seth Isaac Johnson). The Scarecrow also deserves some props in this department for their creepy monster moves. Becka (Adeline Lo) is perfect as a foil to angsty Sam (Bean Reid) and the two make a great pair. Good cast all around mesh well in the nostalgic visual vibe and make this a very welcome addition to the R. L. Stine catalogue. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/25 Full Review Yuridia Y It's been a long time since I've seen a R.L Stine movie based on his books, realistically 6 or 5 years. But this movie didn't disappoint at all, it had me at the edge of my seat as it brought back that goosebumps childhood nostalgia! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/18/25 Full Review S.H.C i I don't why people rate it so low it brings back the old goosebumps and haunted hour vibes while pushing the edge of mature horror I rate it 4 although some acting could have been different but it served it purpose as a family horror movie Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/18/25 Full Review Read all reviews
