Audience Member Appallingly bad writing. Possibly clever idea with New Zealand scenery as backdrop, completely fails to live up to even basic expectations. Shallow characters with terrible lines. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member 18% bastards.fuck off.100% Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Forgettable adventure story about good guys Ken Wahl, Lesley Ann Warren and Donald Pleasence looking for a lost WWII plans with a valuable cargo before bad guys George Peppard gets it or kills them first. David Hemmings directed the film. There 'really nothing much to note here except for the pretty New Zealand setting and maybe the Brian May score. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Race for the Yankee Zephyr is not a particularly good movie. Most of the comedy and what passes for a plot is just too goofy and boring to interest. Its saving graces are the stellar helicopter and boat chases, and the movie is well worth sitting through for them alone. And tip a shot of scotch at the end, in memory of the crew members who were killed during the shooting of that boat sequence! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
