Audience Member claustrophobic family drama that finds the right balance of darkness and light. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Another excellent film picked from the Film4 schedules by the Guardian as a 'hidden gem'. No sex, no violence, just human frailty portrayed with empathy and affection. Not an uplifting film: there is a narrative arc, but it's all hard going. Old age is not fun. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A strong sense of place anchors this resonant family drama. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member It turned to be a study on the director's family. The house and the objects are from his parents. And that makes the movie a little bit disappointing. It silly and funny but also tragic! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Just saw this in Sarasota Fl. Best film have seen this year by far. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Geoffrey Macnab Independent (UK) This is a small-scale but delicately crafted and moving family drama, lent an extra resonance by the fact that it features the final performance from Richard Johnson, who died in June. Rated: 4/5 Dec 1, 2015 Full Review Kevin Maher Times (UK) A moving and often brutally effective disquisition on the ageing process, on senility and dementia, and how families are regularly wrenched apart by the same. Rated: 4/5 Dec 1, 2015 Full Review Mark Kermode Observer (UK) Browne's directorial feature debut has an unmistakable air of authenticity that brings real pathos and heartache to some of the film's bleakest moments. Rated: 3/5 Nov 29, 2015 Full Review Jordan Brooks Vague Visages Radiator never resolves and never really aims to; it is a brief yet timeless moment captured on film. Aug 1, 2023 Full Review Grant Rollings The Sun (UK) Radiator often feels a bit too much like a Radio 4 play, but it makes for a good one about the difficulties faced by pensioners. Rated: 3/5 Jan 2, 2016 Full Review Allan Hunter Daily Express (UK) One of the best British films of the year. Rated: 5/5 Dec 3, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews
