Great concept, lousy execution. It feels like the characters went out of their way to make the dumbest choices. Not to mention the periodic TV news updates to fill us in on where we are in the story. Also, the woman is not a good actress, and I was yelling at the screen halfway through the movie to not be stupid.

I liked the idea of the movie, I was thinking of theories and similarities to things like SCP and was excited for that kind of cosmic horror. It was a really strong movie until the very last moment where the writer or director decided to change up the plot, taking away what I thought would be the message of the movie and instead forcing its hand by giving everything an explanation.

One of my favourite films. A brilliant story, with a great twist at the end. They don't fully explain how the two main characters became as they are but it doesn't matter. The way the story slowly unfolds is great and I never saw the plot twist coming.
