Federico Furzan Go See Talk A very intense film about a man's wake up call when a brutal attack leaves him comatose and with deep emotional scars. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 17, 2021 Full Review Matthew Pejkovic Matt's Movie Reviews A slow burn crime drama that takes a patient and carefully constructed approach to the revenge thriller, even though its resolutions do not match the investment given. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 9, 2021 Full Review Martin Unsworth Starburst There's a lot to recommend with Rage, and those with patience and a strong stomach for nastiness will get plenty out of it. Rated: 3/5 Feb 26, 2021 Full Review Gary M. Kramer MovieJawn Even as a low-budget film, where many of these elements-the "stylizing" acting, the intricate plotting-are expected, even desired, Rage feels both lazy and long. Feb 23, 2021 Full Review Tom Beasley Flickering Myth A sprawling, bloated beast that extends over two and a half hours, enormously outstaying its welcome in the process. Rated: 2/5 Feb 23, 2021 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT An interesting mix of revenge thriller, police procedural, and mystery that all comes together nicely. Layered storytelling and intense scenes. steven r Caught me by surprise, couple surprise appearances by some established Aussie veteran talents giving it up for an indi. flick, respect. Another was the crash and thunder of some really graphic imagery, don't want to spoil it but if you walk into your home to masked intruders then it's time buckle up for a bumpy ride. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Warning - this contains some really graphic violence and scenes of sexual assult. This was a dark film! Saw it on Tubi and liked it quite a lot. Was too long though and took ages for it to finish. But glad I watched it as I love these kind of films. It had me feeling tense and uncomfortable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Wasn't expecting this. A bit long and drawn out in some places but I really enjoyed it. The acting was pretty good and the cinematography was better than i expected for a low budget film. My only issue was the downer ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes, I was involved in this film, no, it doesn't exclude me from being able to leave an honest review. I'm very proud of it but as everyone knows, no film is perfect. But for the budget we had and what we managed to do with it, it's quite incredible to be honest. It's a very unique drama-thriller film which explores the ramifications of a terrible event between a couple, how they cope, how they reconnect and how they react. There's some tough scenes to watch, but once they're done, you can enjoy something seldom seen anymore in film, slow panning shots, time to think, time to explore the world and the characters and a fantastic score. It's a great independent film that film fans would enjoy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an unexpected surprise. I like my thrillers but this one was more of a slow burn. Some parts were a little long but I felt like I had a good understanding of who all the main characters were. There was a very uncomfortable scene towards the start that sets the mood and story. Apart from revenge, it's also a story about relationships and how to navigate them when something unexpected happens. Oh yeah, the music throughout it was very powerful. Really enjoyed it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Its a bit long but I had time during the pandemic lockdowns to spare to this. I'm glad I did. Its violent and a little bit unsettling. The actors did a great job and the music was amazing. felt like an old 1950's noir. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
