Federico Furzan Go See Talk A very intense film about a man's wake up call when a brutal attack leaves him comatose and with deep emotional scars. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 17, 2021 Full Review Martin Unsworth Starburst There's a lot to recommend with Rage, and those with patience and a strong stomach for nastiness will get plenty out of it. Rated: 3/5 Feb 26, 2021 Full Review Gary M. Kramer MovieJawn Even as a low-budget film, where many of these elements-the "stylizing" acting, the intricate plotting-are expected, even desired, Rage feels both lazy and long. Feb 23, 2021 Full Review Tom Beasley Flickering Myth A sprawling, bloated beast that extends over two and a half hours, enormously outstaying its welcome in the process. Rated: 2/5 Feb 23, 2021 Full Review Nathaniel Muir AIPT An interesting mix of revenge thriller, police procedural, and mystery that all comes together nicely. Layered storytelling and intense scenes. Feb 21, 2021 Full Review Lorry Kikta Film Threat Rage will have you on the edge of your seat, especially in the third act... Rated: 7/10 Feb 12, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Warning - this contains some really graphic violence and scenes of sexual assult. This was a dark film! Saw it on Tubi and liked it quite a lot. Was too long though and took ages for it to finish. But glad I watched it as I love these kind of films. It had me feeling tense and uncomfortable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Wasn't expecting this. A bit long and drawn out in some places but I really enjoyed it. The acting was pretty good and the cinematography was better than i expected for a low budget film. My only issue was the downer ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Yes, I was involved in this film, no, it doesn't exclude me from being able to leave an honest review. I'm very proud of it but as everyone knows, no film is perfect. But for the budget we had and what we managed to do with it, it's quite incredible to be honest. It's a very unique drama-thriller film which explores the ramifications of a terrible event between a couple, how they cope, how they reconnect and how they react. There's some tough scenes to watch, but once they're done, you can enjoy something seldom seen anymore in film, slow panning shots, time to think, time to explore the world and the characters and a fantastic score. It's a great independent film that film fans would enjoy! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an unexpected surprise. I like my thrillers but this one was more of a slow burn. Some parts were a little long but I felt like I had a good understanding of who all the main characters were. There was a very uncomfortable scene towards the start that sets the mood and story. Apart from revenge, it's also a story about relationships and how to navigate them when something unexpected happens. Oh yeah, the music throughout it was very powerful. Really enjoyed it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Its a bit long but I had time during the pandemic lockdowns to spare to this. I'm glad I did. Its violent and a little bit unsettling. The actors did a great job and the music was amazing. felt like an old 1950's noir. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Great film and highly recommend - just make sure you have the time and maturity to sit down, put your phone away and watch these character be. This was a pretty damn good effort for an indie film produced on 150k. It tackles some really deep issues and not for the faint hearted. It has one of the most brutal rape scenes ever put to film but what really makes it more brutal than the act itself is seeing the torment and emotional struggle with the aftermath. This has a real noir feel to it and although its probably about 20 minutes too long, I'm really glad I stuck with it because that ending came out of nowhere. The film really dives into the exploration of trauma, lies and betrayal in a way that really does care and take its time to develop and stay on screen, perhaps sometimes more longer than we're comfortable with. its this that made me feel a little uncomfortable watching. having said that, I also believe that this was the filmmakers intentions.
