Jason Gorber Film Scouts Pretty good in parts, its unforgiveably slow in others, making for a hard slog... Rated: C+ Jun 21, 2007 Full Review Jon Popick Planet S Magazine Writer/director Yuthlert Sippapak already has a couple of sequels in the works, and I can't wait to see them. Apr 1, 2005 Full Review Luke Y. Thompson LYTRules.com This movie really took me by surprise, and despite the silly-sounding name, I highly recommend it. Nov 8, 2004 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews The film's focus on clumsy, inept characters results in a series of jokes that are beyond lame... Rated: 1/4 Oct 30, 2004 Full Review Mark R. Leeper rec.arts.movies.reviews This ghost story goes in eight different directions at once, from tragic social message to slapstick comedy. Chilling, but the film is too unfocused. Audience Member Truly embodies the true Asian-horror genre. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it. Looking for part 2 got 1,3, and 4. Goodluck to me. Yeepee Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I have a conflict with this film, it has some scary moments but some funny parts. The fact is that i don't know if that was intentionally, but lets give it the privilege of the doubt because in Thailand is a cult movie and an excellent franchise. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I've never seen a horror movie that had pretty comedic moments like this one. Yes, granted that it was definitely scary in its own way but there were definitely quite a number of scenes that were humorous. Even though the gore factor was retained, I liked how the horror aspect does not really stem fully from the scary elements but also the emotions displayed from the lead characters. Overall, interesting but it does get pretty flat in a few scenes. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Saw this movie in Hong Kong I think. It was both scary and hilarious. Loved it! trying to find it on dvd. Had some good dry humor as well as slapstick. Surprised it's not doing better here. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Typically odd Thai films that plays homage to The Exorcist whilst throwing in an assortment of oddball characters and slapstick comedy. Quiet female student Rahtree kills herself after being betrayed by her supposed boyfriend and then haunts the apartment block she lived in, much to the dismay of the other residents. It’s never less than fun to watch but the tone veers wildly, the more poignant moments somewhat undermined by the over-the-top performances from the cast. Successful enough to spurn two sequels however! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
