Adventurers Dick Manning (Richard Arlen) and Andy McCoy (Andy Devine) stow away on a vessel that takes them to the Middle East. On board they meet the pretty Alice Evans (Linda Hayes), who has accepted a job with Jones (George M. Carleton), a philanthropist who has erected a modern city in the middle of the desert. Unfortunately, a powerful sheik is threatening to attack if Jones doesn't surrender the city, and the stowaways find themselves in the middle of a war.
